2-Year Old Preschool Class
For the young ones starting the preschool environment, we focus on teaching the children following step by step directions and how to share and be kind to other people. We will also be teaching them colors, shapes, animals and objects. Showing the children respect and manners is how we help them learn those qualities.
3 to 4-Year Old Preschool Class
For our middle preschoolers, we start to focus more on our letter recognition, start practicing writing our name, and being able to follow three to four step directions. We will review our colors, shapes, animals, and objects. Along with continuing showing the children respect and manners, we will teach them about emotions; what they mean and how to show them.
5-Year Old Preschool Class
For the little ones going into Kindergarten next year, we will be working more number and letter recognition. Developing fine motor skills to complete hand writing tasks such as first and last name. Learning some sight words along with following simple step by step directions to prepare them for the environment of a kindergarten classroom.
